Learning to drive is an exciting experience, but it’s natural to feel a bit nervous the first time you get behind the wheel. We want to ensure you feel safe and comfortable when you learn to drive. Some people feel more comfortable being taught by a female driving instructor, and if that’s how you feel then it’s worth giving us a call.
If English isn’t your first language and you don’t feel confident about your English, that doesn’t have to be a road block on your way to getting a British driving licence. You will need a basic understanding of the language to pass the driving test and to read some road signs, but the DVSA know that you don’t need to speak like Churchill to be a responsible driver.
People learn to drive in an automatic for many different reasons, perhaps you’re eco-conscious and are planning to drive an electric car which are mainly automatic, or maybe you have a disability that stands in the way of changing gears. Whatever your reason may be, RED is here to provide you with expert automatic tuition and get you on the road safely, comfortably, and quickly.
At RED Driving School we can offer both automatic and manual driving lessons. There are many benefits to choosing manual lessons, such as having more control, the ability to drive a wide range of makes and models that only come with manual transmission, and, in some cases, greater fuel efficiency.
